The year of the Rooster was yet another excellent year for our Teen Princess. Enormous blessings showered from Papa God throughout the year and this was topped by a very important milestone, a well-attended major solo concert!
Sarah traveled the world in 2005 and the “Rooster”- ABS-CBN’s flagship icon - was indeed instrumental in bringing her closer to her legion of fans around the world. She was in the US mainland three times this year.
Her first stop was an American territory Guam (Jan), then, the Lunar Parade (Feb), the Return of the Champions (May-Jun), and ASAP in San Francisco (Jul) where she celebrated her birthday.
Balitang America reported that as soon as Sarah and Mark perfomed during the Lunar Parade, the Philippines “Stole the Show.” Thanks to all TFC subscribers who eagerly supported Sarah. The Lunar event was likewise memorable because Sarah was able to bring along, via the kind courtesy of Atty. Garfinkel, his younger brother Gab to the land of milk and honey.
The Champions had to do it all over again in 2005 but this time in 11 venues (DC, NY, Chicago, SJ, SF, Seattle, LA, Vegas, San Diego, Hawaii, Maui). Although write-ups about the events were seldom in the press, the attendees and the entire entourage witnessed how the Champions were warmly received, and in the case of Sarah, how she humbly acknowledged the standing ovation given to her venue after venue.
ASAP in San Francisco was likewise full of memory for SG Fans because of her family’s kind gesture to host a private party (pre-departure) with the Popsters and even spend valuable time with her SG.com family in San Francisco.
2005 was indeed a year of firsts: First time in Japan, Bahrain, United Kingdom and Australia. Thanks to ABS-CBN and her TFC exposure. Looking back, Ate G recalls the conversation between Ms. Regine and Sarah in her first concert at the Music Museum where they both dreamed of performing abroad. The child Sarah kept on responding “opo” with a matching smile. Little did she realize that this dream is now a reality.
For 2006, Sarah is tentatively scheduled to visit Canada, Hawaii and the UK. It is not farfetched that an American rendezvous will be scheduled soon – The Other Side in America?
Here at home, Sarah continued to be showered with shows (SCQ Reload, S4SIAM Season 1, and Little Big Star) and endorsements (Jollibee, Charmee, Surf). Fans eagerly await her segments in ASAP, her TV Guestings and Music Videos. (
alt='offtopic' /> Sarah won a personal computer showcase in Wowowee – hehe.. which is a step closer to access SG.Com). Little Big Star is rating very well! She remains relentless in promoting her albums, squeezing in mall tours as much as possible – Dec27-29 may mall tour pa imbes na magbakasyon

ASAP recently honored Sarah “Best Female Platinum Awardee” for 2005. Her first album, Pop Star Dream Come True achieved 6x Platinum. Her 2nd album, Sweet 16, achieved 2x Platinum; Congratulations to Sarah! Her First Major Solo Concert, The Other Side are now available both in CD and DVD. Don’t Miss out, it’s a collectors dream and you will surely love Sarah more! More blessings for Sarah in 2006!

this was the year Sarah's career zoomed to the top. It gave us a BLAST!!!
siyempre, her solo major concert at the ARANETA tops the list aside from a lot of travel abroad..

From my joining the website in late January 2005.. to the Return of the Champions US Tour in May-June 2005.. to her return in Manila in late June 2005... to her birthday celebration in San Francisco in July 2005.
That's pretty much the experiences I've had personally with our princesa.. will most definitely remember this year as something memorable. I do have some personal stories with her, and those I will never ever forget
take care IDOL..!!!
